Click Amend issuer profile supplement in the left navigation bar
The left navigation bar expands to offer 4 choices for amendments to the issuer profile supplement
Click Amend security designation
The Amend security designation screen opens
Choose the security to be amended in the list of outstanding securities
Click Next
The File amendment screen opens
Note: You can only amend the security designation, not the security category. For example, if the original security’s category was Equity, and its designation was Preferred Shares, you can keep the security category as Equity and rename the security designation to Special Shares, but you cannot change the security category to Debt and rename the security designation to Bonds.
Make the required amendment as follows:
Select a Security designation in the Security name drop-down list box
If Issuer Derivatives is the security category (i.e. options, rights, warrants, etc.) an Underlying security designation section opens on the screen. In this section, use the drop-down list boxes and fields to provide details about the underlying security (i.e. security category, security name, etc.).
If necessary, fill in the Additional description field (optional) to better describe the particular type of security being created.
Maximum number of characters: 60
Note: If Other is chosen as a security name, text must be entered for the Additional description field and SEDI will display the information provided as the security designation.
Click File and then click OK in the dialog box
