Access Insider Transaction Detail Reports

Background

The official record of insider transactions filed with the securities commissions is the information available in the public access filings on the SEDI website (www.sedi.ca). Transactions filed on SEDI are available for public viewing almost immediately, at least within 5 minutes of being filed.

Directions to view ITD reports from the Access Public Filings

Steps to access Insider transaction detail (ITD) reports follow:

From the Welcome page of SEDI

 

Click Access Public Filings in the top right-hand corner of the Welcome to SEDI page

The Introduction to access public filings screen opens

Click View summary reports  in the left navigation bar.

The View summary reports screen opens

Scroll down and click the radio button beside Insider transaction detail

Click Next

The Enter search criteria screen opens

Under Mandatory Criteria, click the arrow head and select the appropriate description for the information you require.

If

then

you want to view insider reports for an Individual insider

choose Insider family name

you want to view insider reports for a Company insider

choose Insider Company name

you want to view insider reports for all insiders of a particular issuer

choose Issuer name
 

Fill in optional information  if you wish to filter out some of the ITD Report information (i.e select only the specific security designation you want to include in the report or enter specific filing dates or transaction dates etc) or go to the bottom of the screen and click Search if you want to view all reports filed by the selected insider.

 

Click Search

Click View at the beginning of the line on the screen to view the transaction details

To print this report, scroll to the bottom of the screen and select Download PDF Report
